BLAND RECORD FEATURES FROGHILL TEENS
Two Froghill teenagers are hoping to be top of the pops after recording in London with singer-songwriter James Bland.
The St Winifred’s School pupils have been featured on a thrash metal remix of the tousle-haired star's Your Booty’s Full, taken from his album Back to Bedford.
Frankie Moped, 13, was one of the students chosen to sing and said the experience was really fun.
“The experience was really fun," she said.
“James was really nice. He let me push all the buttons on the mixing desk and I added the sound of a tadpole at the end of the song. I’m sure he liked me best.”
Fellow classmate Tabatha Smartarse, 14, said: “It was wonderful. James is so dishy and dreamy. I have his picture all over my bedroom wall, so meeting him in person was really amazing.
"I’m sure he liked me best. He even asked me if I’d like to go into one of the recording booths with him and stroke his little puppy.”
Your Booty’s Full (Hellspawn Mix) will be released later this month on Enema Records and will be available at all branches of Veejay’s News.
